Viewing Requests and Sessions with DMV'sDescription:
View queryable requests and sessions (way better than sp_who2!) and use a sample query
to find a not only which session is blocking a session, but which sessions
a session is blocking. Get a comma-delimited list of blocked sessions, then sort by the length of that list, descending. Find out which session is the culprit for your blocking pileup!
