Main Topic: Indexes and Execution Plans: Using them together for the better

Detail:  Have you ever wondered what indexes to put on a table?  Believe it or not SQL Server provides guidance built in to the system, Microsoft calls them Execution Plans.  This presentation will briefly cover how to read execution plans and how to determine the best index for your specific query.

Bio: Robert Bishop, SQL Server Consultant, Sparkhound

As a.NET developer for ENGlobal Engineering, Robert became an accidental DBA out of necessity. For the past 5 years, he has worked as an Applications Developer for Business Intelligence and a Database Administrator for Woman’s Hospital.
